Hi all,

Giles, if I remember correctly the installation of sinks in the bathroom
facilities during the refitting was discussed at several closed meetings
of the sanitary ware requisition sub-committee.

Funds were allocated to the fitting of bathroom facilities according to
the prevailing market conditions at the time and the expectations of
potential hires at the relevant level according to the multi- and
inter-tier seating plan. We must remember we operate in a competitive
staffing environment and must maximise our expenditure on facilities
that could attract the high level of skills and experience we value here
at every terrace of the organisational ziggurat.

And, before anyone remarks that market conditions have since changed, I
don't think it would be blowing my own trumpet too much to point out
that as part of the refitting process I undertook a comprehensive
horizon scanning forecast review of the bathroom basin market in order
to ensure employee expectations regarding sanitary ware would not only
be matched (or dare I say exceeded!) at the time but also going forward.
As a result of this we altered the requirements to buy basins (for all
floors!) with round overflow holes rather than the more rectangular
shape often found.

I would point you to the archived reports on this process but I'm quite
busy as I still haven't found my pen.

Thankyou.
