This very important email must be read by everyone as it is very important.

As a part of my Equal Opportunities policy launch, the Directors have agreed
to a 'Disabled Day' next Tuesday, when every member of staff is required to
work with a disability of their choice.

Staff might like to discuss their planned disabilities with other people on
their floors so that disabilities aren't duplicated. I'm expecting the local
news to come and cover the day so it important to make your disability
visible and understandable. The press seem keen to show the community what a
caring place we are.

Roger in the print room has agreed to make up some 'I'm disabled today'
t-shirts with space on the back to write down the disability you have.
Please see him if you would like them. First come first served.

Please note that people like myself, who have a real disability, should come
with a second disability.

If you would like to be involved in the Disabled Olympics during lunch,
please sign up for an event on the canteen notice board.

I'm sure that Disabled Day will be a fun day, but there is a serious side
too. I hope that we can discover how 'disabled friendly' our office building
is, as well as learning to be more sensitive and understanding to one
another's limitations. All difficulties encountered which affect someone's
ability to do their job properly should be recorded and presented to Floor
Captains, who will email me with their summary the following day.

As a thank you for your involvement, a buffet will be available at the
Sinking Ship from 5pm, where I for one will be getting legless.

Regards

Paul
