If you'd been reading your emails on the [Pretend-Maintenance] list, you'd  
know that twenty minutes ago all the lifts were taken out of service for  
the rest of the day, due to repeated misuse of the three-button trick  
causing interference with the repair-work on Lift 154 (Brown-Turner).

I've asked Maintenance if they have any suggestions for your predicament,  
and they said that you, and I quote, "should have invited them to the  
party."

They also asked me to mention that the power to all lifts will be going  
off in about thirty seconds. Apparently this is completely necessary.

On the plus side, Maintenance have found Clare.

(Phil, can I please get a desk that's not right by Maintenance? I'm  
turning into their secretary. They'll have me filling in their Capacity  
Reports next!)
