Thanks Anno,
Unfortunately I had to cancel the H&S 'get the best from your desk' today as
I forgot to turn up to deliver it. I hadn't planned anything anyway so it
didn't matter. Tomorrow I'm holding a party so it can't run then and
Wednesday I'm having the day off to recover from the party. Really sorry
after promising my time but I have to prioritise. I'll see how I feel
Thursday but for anyone who wanted to attend, it's basically:
1) The more you spend on a desk the better.
2) The more you spend on a chair the better.
3) Get an all in one desk tidy with at least 3 different pen compartments.
4) And finally.......Shred Shred Shred. A tidy desk gives the impression you
are in control = More likely to get promoted regularly.
Regards
Paul

Subject: [Everyone] National office week
Dear colleagues
This week is the first national office week and to celebrate our
office PeopleSoft will be running some office events to help us all
celebrate and reflect our working environment.
This afternoon in Heinrich-Manouver there will be a chair designing
workshop led by Roy Sigfried from Product Actualisation.
Floor Captains will be arranging walking tours of each departmental
space- see your environment noticebiard for details.
Health and Safety will be running workshops each morning on getting
the best from your desk! 8.45 Mon-Fri on mezzanine 44.
Stationary are having a pen amnesty, any amount if pens can be traded
in for a brand new national pretend office week pen- see stationary on
floors 18 through 22 of Complex A for details.
Many other events will be popping up through the week so keep your
eyes out or ask your Floor Captains for more details.
Don't forget to represent Pretend in CyberSpace online in the National
Office Week website.
