Hello from Hofn,

 

Svana (possibly the only sane person here and it seems the only person who
has ever bothered to learn English), has set up the only PO Hofn computer to
send and receives emails to and from the UK email list. There's no archive
so please forward anything important I've missed.

 

I know you will have all been concerned about my welfare over the last two
days. I've had a bad time but I'm okay now. I'll try to summarise quickly as
we only have half an hour of dialup modem time each day.

 

I was banged up last night after being conned by the 'Singing Smuggler'
dressed as Bjork, then pardoned this morning after giving all the prison
guards one of my special boy massages. 

 

I've had my wheelchair confiscated by customs. Wheelchairs are banned in
Iceland. Hinrik has been assigned to carry me around but it's far from
ideal.

 

Hofn looks rubbish, but after the trauma of the last two days I'm glad to be
safe. 

 

Clubbing has been rearranged for tonight. Maybe some light at the end of the
tunnel. I'll let you know how it goes.

 

I've attached a photo of the office. You will notice it's a lot smaller than
PO UK. I've got no idea what I'm supposed to be doing here but at the moment
I just need some sleep.

 

Things can only get better.
