Thanks Zelda,
I've followed your illustration and stuck numbers around the screen too.
Each time I do it, the time starts at 4 O'clock but the sun keeps moving so
it's difficult to get a consistent reading. I'll stick at it and see if I
can get it to work for longer. I've had to make do with a biro and chewing
gum until my order arrives. Is this the problem?
