It has been drawn to my attention, that there are amongst you, those that
would publish regularly to the public, to our customers, past, present and
future, information that pertains to our company's inner workings.
Furthermore, you would invite that same public, customers, past, present and
future to respond to that same publication via a "commenting" mechanism.

I am speechless at the inappropriateness of this course of action. I had
thought that we were all well aware of the seriousness of the times we live
in, of the enormity of the stakes we chance to lose at a single misstep.

People, we are at War and you talk of engaging with the enemy, of keeping
them informed, of inviting them to participate in our DEMISE.

Our very identity is at stake. It is critical that we do not at any time
confuse our customers with talk of engaging in dialogue, of responding to
their needs, of doing anything other than giving them what we deem
appropriate. If we fail to do this we will find ourselves in that most
terrible of positions, that most demeaning of roles - we will become a
company that is driven by our customers' needs, we will be a company that
responds to our market.

I can't reiterate enough how important it is that we remain aloof, that we
carefully guard that chasm that separate us from them. Should you at anytime
feel uncomfortable, that they are perhaps getting too close or forgetting
their position do not hesitate to draw down on the many legal actions at
your disposal. On the intranet you will find a series of pro-forma cease and
desists letters and my team is ready to spring into action at a moments
notice on the LegalActionsRus hotline 24/7. Remember, a legal action a day,
keeps the customers at bay.

I hope this has woken some of you up to the world we now live in. This isn't
Star Wars* people, the plucky rebels are not the good guys.

Yours in arms
Paula
