I've been asked to write a blog for the company external-facing blogweb.

Has anyone done this before? I could do with some help. I've written a
draft in Word (took me nearly all day!) which I'll be happy to share
with anyone who'd be able to give me some guidance. I decided to write
something about how the internet lets people do cool things from home
like shopping and stuff, which I'm sure you'll all agree will make a
fascinating article.

I've been asked to get it done and adding to the blogweb by the end of
May, so chop-chop.
